Kelp-Infused Mayonnaise

Have you been grilling outdoors this summer? We’ve created a quick and easy lemony kelp-infused mayonnaise recipe for you to have on hand all summer long. Slather it on your burger buns, drizzle over corn for a spin on elotes, or use as a dip for grilled artichokes. Kelp adds a mild umami flavor, plus tons of vitamins and minerals like iron, iodine, and magnesium!

Ingredients

  • 1 jar mayonnaise (We prefer the soy-free veganaise from @followyourheart)

  • 1/2 cup Blue Evolution Kombu, puréed in a blender or finely chopped

  • 1/2 lemon, zested and juiced

  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

Method

  1. Pour mayonnaise into a medium bowl, then add the lemon juice and zest.

  2. Add kombu. Mix.

  3. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Enjoy!
