We believe human decisions should stay aligned with living systems.
We believe progress depends on making biological response more measurable, more legible, and more usable in the real world.
That is the work of Blue Evolution and the reason Seastar exists.

Life speaks through response and rhythm.

What endures leaves a record.

What we learn should be useful without surrender of sovereignty.

Every system belongs to its place.

Life renews what it sustains.
Blue Evolution is founded with a mission to advance seaweed cultivation as a foundation for a regenerative bioeconomy. Early work focuses on species identification, cultivation methods, and ocean mapping along the Pacific Coast, including Alaska, Baja California, and Mexico. These regions become our living labs in the world.
Strategic partnerships with research institutions and indigenous coastal communities expand discovery and impact. The team begins scaling production and developing ulvan-based feedstocks and bioproducts for agriculture, materials, and health applications. Blue Evolution works with several leading edge partners and private labels seaweed-based feedstocks.
At the end of 2024, everything changed. Advances in biological measurement, high-throughput research, and native compute systems, made it possible to see patterns in living systems with greater clarity and speed. That work led to the creation of Seastar.
Blue Evolution is now actively advancing Seastar across agriculture and broader bioeconomy applications.
Blue Evolution is continuing to build the science, protocols, and IP foundation behind it.
