Some of the most ancient forms of multi-cellular life, these organisms have survived through the eons- converting sunlight into abundant nutrition for thousands of other species that have come and gone.

In Baja California—the renowned gastronomic and food growing region and the Wine Capital of Mexico—we started by partnering with the local University to grow our seaweed outdoors in a dynamic biological environment, learning from renowned seaweed experts and grad students alike. In Alaska, we partner with entrepreneurial fishermen to grow seaweed in some of the most pristine ocean waters on earth.
Located right next to the ocean, we take our time to thoughtfully cultivate the finest seaweed in triple filtered seawater, plus sunlight and love. Unlike land-based vegetables, our seaweed requires no fresh water to grow or process. We carefully monitor and control the growing environment, then harvest and dry our seaweed naturally, using a proprietary process that uses NO solvents or other chemicals.
