Creamy Rotini Crab Bake
On the West coast, it’s Dungeness crab season! We’re celebrating the ocean’s bounty with a Creamy Rotini Crab Bake featuring our Superfood Seaweed Pasta and Miltons Craft Bakers Organic Gourmet Crackers.
½ pound Dungeness Crab meat
3 cloves garlic, minced
½ small shallot, minced
4 tablespoons unsalted butter
1 ½ cup heavy whipping cream
¼ cup dry white wine
¼ teaspoon cayenne
1 cup smoked gruyere cheese, grated
½ cup parmesan cheese, grated
½ cup Milton’s Organic Gourmet Olive Oil & Sea Salt Cracker crumbs
Cook pasta according to instructions on the box.
Sauté the shallots and garlic in butter over medium heat until soft, about 1 to 2 minutes.
Increase heat to high, add the heavy cream, and reduce for 1 minute.
Add the white wine and cayenne and reduce heat to medium heat. Continue to simmer for about 2-3 minutes.
Add the crab meat, rotini, and cheese and gently toss together. Top with cracker crumbs.
Transfer to serving baking dish and bake, uncovered, at 400 degrees for about 20 minutes.
Serve with lemons and salt to taste.
